The mission of the Milledgeville Main Street Downtown Development Authority is to inspire public and private investment in the revitalization, preservation, and promotion of the downtown business district in order to strengthen the economic base of Milledgeville-Baldwin County. Through use of the Main Street Four-Point Approach the Vision is for Historic Downtown Milledgeville to be a vibrant and attractive destination for business, education, and community activity where people appreciate its rich history.
The Milledgeville Main Street/ Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors are a seven member volunteer board appointed by the Milledgeville City Council that acts in an advisory position to the Main Street/ Downtown Development Authority staff.
The Board Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month from 11:30am-1pm at the Economic Development Center, 105 E. Hancock Street. All Board Meetings are open to the public.
