The concert begins at 7:30pm, at the Black Heritage Plaza beside the historic Allen’s Market building at the North Wayne St. & McIntosh St. intersection, and is free and open to the public.

Allied Arts invites you to an afternoon of storytelling at Allen’s Market in downtown Milledgeville. This storytelling concert is a collaboration between Allied Arts, Inc., WRCG 88.3, Georgia College National Public Radio affiliate and professional storyteller Jeanette Waddell. June’s storytelling theme is “Honoring the Men that Inspires Us” and features students, singers, and other passionate storytellers including Harriet Davis, James Watkins, Eric Jones, and Sherry Morrison.

Diego Figueiredo (pron. Fig-Uh-Ray-Doe) is considered one of the most talented guitar players in the world today & is the winner of several important competitions including the Montreux Jazz Competition and the VISA Prize. Ensemble Schumann Trio

A lively and colorful trio, the members of Ensemble Schumann will present works by their name-sake Robert Schumann, as well as by Johannes Brahms, Camille Saint-Saëns, Charles Loeffler, Francis Poulenc, Dmitri Shostakovich, and others in this performance, part of the Town & Gown Concert Series.
