  • $14.3 billion was spent on Small Business Saturday 2014, making for an increase of $300,000 since 2013.
  • On Twitter, Small Business Saturday is likely to narrow in on 1 million tweets during the holiday season. (The most popular hashtags to use are: #SmallBizSat #ShopSmall and #SmallBusinessSaturday.)

Independence Day Fireworks Celebration

The City of Milledgeville will host its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration¬†Tuesday, July 3rd at Central Georgia¬†Technical College’s Milledgeville Campus, 54 Hwy 22 W, beginning at nightfall around 8:30-9pm.

Zambelli Fireworks will shoot the fireworks display from the CGTC parking lot, which will be closed to spectators. Spectators should plan to park in other areas such as the Walter B. Williams Park, Board of Education, or other places within the viewing area.
