First Friday: End of Summer Shakedown

With summer days slipping into fall, and a new school year right around the corner, now is a great time to celebrate the wrap of another summer season and combat the back-to-school blues. The End of Summer Shakedown in downtown Milledgeville will be filled with friends, food, and First Friday fun on Friday, August 3, from 6-8pm.

Catch The Baldwin High School Band perform at the Black Heritage Plaza right before Marilyn Jarrette starts at 7:30 PM. There will be activities for the kiddos including face paintings by Lisa Marie Barry and balloon art by Greg Bosman. First Friday Champion sponsor, Magnolia State Bank, and First Friday Partner, Milledgeville Jaycees will be on site with additional activities for both the kids and kids at heart. First Friday is a free community event where everyone is welcome.
