Each grade, from K-12, is represented in this exhibit of over 100 artworks by Baldwin County School students themed “Color My World.” Hosted by Allied Arts, a Baldwin County Schools Partner in Education, the exhibit is part of an initiative to bring attention to local artistic talent at all levels

Light refreshments will be served. Families & the public are invited to attend. The exhibit will be on display from Sunday, November 5 to Wednesday, November 22.

Aiken’s expertly crafted show features original works spanning the genres of folk, country, rock, and blues. She has performed with the Indigo Girls, Doc Watson, Randy Newman, Little Feat, and the Beach Boys.

Each month, storytellers gather at Allen’s Market to share their tales based on a central theme. Prepare to laugh, cry, and listen to Milledgeville’s great storytellers. Storytelling is a partnership between Allied Arts, professional storyteller Jeanette Waddell, and WRGC 88.3.

Clifford Porter Exhibit Linked ImageAllied Arts invites the public to an opening reception for the exhibition of “Ceramics”, honoring the artist Clifford Porter, at the John Marlor Arts Center, 201 North Wayne Street, Milledgeville. The exhibit features over 50 of Porter’s works, including pottery, sculpture, stained glass, and wood turning. Light refreshments will be served.

Free Lance Ruckus during First Friday


Join Allied Arts for an evening of music beginning at 7:30pm, part of the First Friday event in downtown Milledgeville. Free Lance Ruckus describes their music as Southern, alternative, Americana rock. This concert is free and open to the public.

Allied Arts invites you to an afternoon of storytelling at Allen’s Market in downtown Milledgeville. This storytelling concert is a collaboration between Allied Arts, Inc., WRCG 88.3, Georgia College National Public Radio affiliate and professional storyteller Jeanette Waddell. June’s storytelling theme is “Honoring the Men that Inspires Us” and features students, singers, and other passionate storytellers including Harriet Davis, James Watkins, Eric Jones, and Sherry Morrison.

Allied Arts presents a performance by the lively and colorful Diego Figueiredo Trio, playing a fusion of Jazz, Bossa Nova, & Classical music.

Diego Figueiredo (pron. Fig-Uh-Ray-Doe) is considered one of the most talented guitar players in the world today & is the winner of several important competitions including the Montreux Jazz Competition and the VISA Prize. Ensemble Schumann Trio


A lively and colorful trio, the members of Ensemble Schumann will present works by their name-sake Robert Schumann, as well as by Johannes Brahms, Camille Saint-Saëns, Charles Loeffler, Francis Poulenc, Dmitri Shostakovich, and others in this performance, part of the Town & Gown Concert Series.
