November First Friday ImageThis month’s First Friday event will be a Fall-filled celebration in downtown Milledgeville on November 3rd from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Carlos Toombs and Local Folk will fill the sidewalks with lively tunes. Carlos performs a wide range of music, with a focus on the 70s, 80s, and 90s. He will be jamming on North Wayne Street near Oconee Outfitters and Mod Podge Mama. Community favorite, Local Folk will be out in front of Gringo’s on West Hancock Street performing their popular music as well.

First Friday Champion sponsor, Magnolia State Bank will have Thanksgiving turkeys for the kiddos to color and a Magnolia goodie bag giveaway for older kids and adults.

The Milledgeville Jaycees are back again with a fun, fall-themed craft for kids of all ages! The City of Milledgeville Utilities representatives for FOG (Fats, Oils & Grease) Prevention and the GC Chemistry Club will also have engaging activities, entertainment, and lots of goodies. In addition to the kids corners face painting by Lisa Marie will be back to help celebrate another First Friday.

While strolling along the picturesque sidewalks of downtown, listening to dynamic music, or participating in fun activities, attendees should stop into downtown restaurants and shop the retail stores for holiday gifts.
