Fourty-five award winning pieces of art, by disabled artists across Georgia, make up this exhibit currently touring statewide. Included in the exhibit are 27 artworks, by 16 Milledgeville artists, selected from pieces submitted state-wide. GA War Veterans and Creative Expressions Studio artists have participated, and had artworks selected, for several years.
In its 32nd year, the exhibit is a way to advocate for disabled artists, enabling them to achieve recognition and commercial opportunities for their unique pieces of art. “We’re proud to be an advocate for the disabled in communities across Georgia and honored to put their art on display every year for the public to see and enjoy,” said Ann Brooks, GAWD chair.
will be on display at Allied Arts’ Marlor House gallery, located at 201 N. Wayne Street in Milledgeville, from March 8 through March 30.
