March First Friday

MARCH: Celebrating Our Roots
FF March Poster

Downtown Milledgeville exudes history, from the historic downtown buildings and the big oak trees, to the antebellum homes and the museums. The March 4th, “Celebrate our Roots” themed First Friday will be a time to explore Milledgeville’s rich history downtown from 6 to 8:00pm.

The First Friday Committee’s partnership with the Convention and Visitors Bureau and the museums will continue to offer FREE trolley rides to the museums for patrons to learn about Milledgeville history. While the Old Governor’s Mansion will NOT be open to the public due to a previous engagement, there will be a wide range of other past-year-favorite activities and lots of new to enjoy as well.Representatives from both Lockerly Arboretum and Andalusia Farm will also be present with information about upcoming events and information about their places in Milledgeville’s history.
